AristoClinic’s CCO-registered chiropractors take a comprehensive, functional approach to spinal and joint health — treating the underlying cause of your pain, not just the symptom that brought you in. No referral needed. Direct billing available.

What Is Chiropractic Care?

More than spinal adjustments.

Chiropractic is a regulated health profession focused on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system — particularly the spine, joints, and the nervous system that connects them.

Every chiropractor at AristoClinic holds registration with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO) and completed a minimum four years of postgraduate clinical training.

The spine-nerve connection.

Your spine houses and protects your spinal cord — the information highway between your brain and every system in your body. When joints lose their normal motion, they create local inflammation, restrict movement, and can irritate nearby nerves — which is why chiropractic care, especially when integrated with physiotherapy and massage therapy, produces outcomes that last well beyond the treatment room.

How It Works

Three things your chiropractor actually does.

Every chiropractic visit at AristoClinic works toward three core clinical goals — simultaneously — restoring joint motion, calming nerve irritation, and rebuilding functional strength that lasts.

01

Restore Joint Motion

Joints that have lost their normal range of motion become stiff, inflamed, and painful — and begin altering the way you move. Chiropractic adjustments and mobilization restore that motion, reducing local inflammation and normalizing movement patterns throughout the body.

02

Reduce Nerve Irritation

Restricted spinal joints can impinge or irritate the nerves exiting the spine, contributing to pain, tingling, weakness, and referred symptoms far from the source. Restoring joint position relieves the root cause of nerve-related symptoms.

03

Rebuild Functional Strength

An adjustment alone doesn’t keep you well — the muscles supporting that joint need to be trained to hold the new position. Your chiropractor prescribes corrective exercises and postural strategies so your improvement doesn’t reverse between visits.

Who We Help

From the office to the sports field, we see it all.

Chiropractic care at AristoClinic serves a wide range of patients — from desk workers with tech-neck to athletes recovering from injury to those recovering after a motor vehicle accident. Here are the patient profiles we see most often.

Chronic Back & Neck Pain Sufferers

You’ve tried stretching, rest, and maybe painkillers — but the pain keeps returning. Chiropractic addresses the joint restriction and nerve irritation driving chronic pain that purely symptomatic treatments don’t reach.

Desk Workers & Tech-Neck Sufferers

Hours at a screen create forward head posture, rounded shoulders, and tension headaches. Postural correction and targeted adjustments directly address the mechanical causes of desk-related pain.

Athletes & Active Adults

Sports injuries, joint restrictions, and repetitive strain respond well to extremity adjustments and corrective exercise, helping you return to training faster and move better long-term.

MVA & Workplace Injury Patients

Motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries often cause whiplash, joint restriction, and lasting pain. We accept MVA (SABS) and WSIB claims and support your documentation from day one.

Seniors Seeking Gentle Care

Gentler mobilization techniques restore mobility and ease joint stiffness without high-velocity thrusts, making chiropractic safe and effective well into later life.

Children & Families

Chiropractic care is safe and effective across all age groups. For younger patients, techniques are adapted to be gentler while still addressing the underlying issue.

Do I need a doctor’s referral to see a Chiropractor?

No. In Ontario, chiropractors are primary healthcare providers. You can book an initial assessment at Aristo Clinic immediately without a referral. Most extended health insurance plans cover chiropractic care directly.

What is that "popping" sound during an adjustment?

The sound is called a cavitation. It is simply the release of gas bubbles (oxygen, nitrogen, and CO2) from the joint fluid when the joint space is opened. It is completely safe and usually results in an immediate feeling of pressure relief.

What should I expect during my first visit?

Your first visit includes a comprehensive history and a physical exam focusing on your posture, joint range of motion, and neurological function. If clinically indicated, you will receive your first treatment during this same appointment so you can start feeling the benefits right away.

Is chiropractic care safe?

Yes. Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest, drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for back and neck pain. Our practitioners are highly trained to screen for any underlying conditions and will adapt their techniques to suit your comfort level and age.

Does an adjustment hurt?

Most patients find adjustments highly relieving. While you might feel a brief moment of "new" sensation, it is rarely painful. Much like a good workout, you may feel some mild soreness for 24 hours after your first visit as your body adapts to its new alignment.

How often will I need to come in?

Every plan is different. Some patients find relief in 2–4 visits, while others choose "maintenance care" once a month to prevent future injuries. After your assessment, we will provide a transparent timeline based on your specific goals.
